And while we're at it, no one bothered to tell me that when you solo for the first time they cut the tail off your shirt and sign and date it. OK, now that would have been fun with some raggedy shirt I stole from my dad but the one I happened to be wearing at the time was the brand new, snow-white uniform shirt of the Chevron station I worked at, which is another story entirely.
