The East Anchorage High School Thunderbirds that no cheerleader ever saw play.  At a pep rally in my senior year, Coach Green introduced me as, "Joe Acton, Captain of the East High Puckers".  Amid a thunderous roar of laughter from 2,500 over-hyped kids, I took a slight bow and looked for somewhere else to be.  Coach thought it was funny as hell.  So do I.  Now.
